
So a little tip if your cant find elk and you want to minimize your boot work drive around at night go a 1/4 a mile at a time bugle listen for them… if you locate some bugle take note of the topography and look for bowls and canyons also locate waterholes and meadows in those areas the will morn than likely feed in the meadows at night and prob be there in early morn then feed back to the canyons to bed for the day, they will soften water miday or early after noon but this is just a rule of thumb because they will drink when they are thirsty and that could be at any given time….. setting atrial cam on these spots will help you determine when the best time to sit water is…
