I used to have problems with my boot laces coming undone until a friend of mine Josh showed my how to tie your boots properly so they wont come undone. See my instep is very high and i cant really cinch my boots down the way most people do by just pulling everything super tight so this creates a loose spot that works its way through the laces to the top of the boot and eventually causes the laces to come untied frequently. So to properly tie your boot and make  it so that you can make the area tight that you want tight and loose where you want loose, this is a good trick to tie your boots properly so they wont come undone while hunting.
