When you hear the word trophy what does it mean to you

The most mature animal in a given area

The size of the rack or skull

The trophy is in the experience

The meat is the trophy and the rack is just a bonus

Just take the hide or antlers and leave the rest

When it comes to game meat

I only take what is required by law

I take more than is required by law

I only take what I can carry

I leave it to waste

Do you prefer game meat that you harvested yourself or store bought

Game meat

Store bought

Equally good

When you think of a trophy vs Meat hunting what best describes

Trophy hunter’s only purpose for hunting is the physical trophy

Trophy hunter is more selective in what animal he/she takes and is willing to not fill his or her tag on an immature animal

A meat hunter will shoot anything legal to fill their freezer

A meat hunter’s main focus is filling the freezer but will try for the most mature animals

I do not fit in any of these categories

You come across a game animal stuck in a fence that you have a legal tag for

You help release that animal

You shoot that animal

You just ignore it and keep on hunting

If you saw another hunter cut off a head and leave the meat what would you do

I would call the authorities

I would shake my head in disgust and go back to hunting

I would confront him/her

So what isn’t that what your supposed to do
